Follow Friday is a weekly blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
It’s been a while since the last time I participated in this (probably just a week or two).
Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why? This weeks Question:
My Answer: I avoid romances (books that are only about romance, although I do read paranormal romance), I don’t mind some romance, meaning that there’s not a lot of romance in the book, but there still is some, because who doesn’t want the protagonist to find a good boyfriend or a girlfriend? (like in animes: Inuyasha, Kodocha (this has more romance, but it’s really really funny), Case Closed, etc. I know a lot of people are probably gonna be thinking, wtf, she doen’t like romance novels? That’s weird, or something like that, I don’t care, call me weird, I’m already weird with my weird imagination and fascination with katanas and action (thanks to anime and manga). I like romance as the side story in books, not as the main focus.
I also try to avoid memoirs, religious fiction, and historical novels (although that depends, there are some that I like, I can’t think of them right now).

Yeah agreed I like when the romance is integrated which is almost always the case in paranormal YA!
Great post, new follower:D

Hopping through. I like some romance books. There has to be a good plot.
